Using The Holidays To Increase Your Sales

The holiday season is almost here and this can be one of the busiest times of the year for your business. There are several things you can do to further increase your sales. Here are a few tips:

Send a mailing to your past customers: The people that have bought from you in the past are more likely to buy from you again. They are already familiar with you, your products and your services. Send your past customers a mailing, either email or snail mail and let them know about new products, specials, etc.

Get crafty: Lots of craft fairs are held in November and December. Check out your local paper and keep an eye out for any upcoming ones in your local area. If you have a product that would work well in a craft fair, contact the organizer and find out about renting a table or booth. These events are also held online - so don’t forget to search for some cyber fairs!

Join the party circuit: Take a note from the direct sales divas and have a party! Invite your friends and family and display your products. Maybe you can give a small presentation or demo. At the end of the party, take your guests orders. Offer to give them an incentive for hosting a party of their own. Have them invite their friends and family over and do the same demo for them, and again, encourage those guests to have a party and so on.

Hold various holiday sales and specials: Most people hold some kind of special holiday sale, but why not make the most of it and hold several of them? Each week during November and December, you can have a different product special or incentive. And don’t forget to have special sales the day after Thanksgiving!

These are just a few of the ways to increase sales during the holiday season. Use your imagination to come up with fun new ways of showcasing your products during this time of year. You’ll be increasing your sales and starting the New Year with a hefty bank account.

Review - Camtasia Studio

Product Name: Camtasia Studio
Rating: 8
Where to buy: http://www.techsmith.com

Description:  Camtasia Studio is a complete software that will help you record, edit and publish anything you need to have put in a video.  Created to work with Windows 2000, XP or Vista this software will complete your video program.  It also has audio capabilities that will only enhance your video for the perfect presentation.

Review: If you are in a business where you need to have video readily available for your employees then you need Camtasia Studio.  You can create, post and file demos, articles, training materials and presentations with ease.

I found that in some instances my videos weren’t looking or sounding just as I wanted them to.  With Camtasia Studio you don’t have to worry.  You can format in many different files such as MP3, iPod, QuickTime, Abode Flash just to name a few. Because it works with PowerPoint it’s a breeze to check out what it looks and sounds like before making your final choice.

It also helps you edit and publish your video.  It publishes right to Screencast so others can view it without any problems.  So no more trying to figure it out.  Let Camtasia Studio do the work so to speak.

The files are small and easy to work with.  They even have a table of contents.  Now how can you beat that when you’re trying to get your point across quickly and easily?

This software is so easy to use whether or new at the game or an old hat.  I picked up on it right off the bat and if I can anybody can.  They also have online support if you start to struggle in anyway.

The price is perfect.  No one can argue that this is the best deal for the money.  If it works for me it will work for anyone so give it a shot and see for yourself.
