As National Women’s History Month comes to a close, it’s hard not to mention the direct sales industry on a business blog!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but to my knowledge, the direct sales industry is pretty much the first industry that whole heartedly welcomed women AND allowed women to earn a wage that enabled them to support themselves and their families.

While some of the pioneering companies, such as Tupperware, are still going strong, new direct sales companies are popping up all the time. Touchstone Crystal is one such company - and allows people who enjoy making their own jewelry to earn a new form of income (to learn more about this company, click here).

In fact, you can pretty much find a direct sales company to match your interests - no matter what they are.

If you’re interested in learning more about starting a direct sales business, how to profit from one, how to market one, as well as how to market a direct sales business online, sign up for the free Direct Sales Ecourse.

I want to give you some money!

Yes - you read that correctly. I want to give you some money! And I can - if you join my affiliate program!

As an affiliate, you will be able to help me promote my business and my products. You’ll receive 50% commission on each of your sales.

For example, if you blog about The IndieBizChicks.com Members Center and someone signs up for it, you will earn about $5 each month, per sale (as long as they stay a member). So let’s say 4 people sign up - you are now making an extra $20 per month that you weren’t making before!

Keep promoting my products and over time, you can earn much more. If you were to blog about it a few times this year and post an ad on your site or blog and over the course of the year, 100 people signed up through your affiliate link, you will be earning $500 per month!

You can also earn one time payments on sales of things such as ebooks, special reports, guides, etc.

What I’ve Been Up To…..

It has been a very busy couple of weeks in Crissy-land! My sister was visiting from March 15 - March 22. It’s always great to see her (we live 4,000 miles apart!). But this trip was ruined by her **boyfriend**!

Turns out the guy had gotten back together with his ex and was just using my sister - and me - for a free trip to Alaska. Nice, huh? I spent several hundreds of dollars on gas money driving him to every town around, plus I fed him, and let him stay in my home.

My sister can come for free any time - but liars who are just using us are not welcome. I emailed him a bill, but I’m sure he won’t be paying it. Can I put his name up on a debtor’s site somewhere??? (ha ha)

We found out the day before their trip ended that he was using us, so we threw him out of my house in the middle of the night and told him to find his own way back to the Anchorage airport. (It’s really not that bad - there’s a small airport in my town and he can pay $89 for a 10 minute ride on a small plane to the Anchorage airport).

After that drama ended, I had to get my wisdom teeth out and the next few days were spent in a pain pill induced sleep fest. But I got sick of the semi-coma yesterday and stopped taking them.

My voice is terrible - so I haven’t updated the podcast yet. (Sorry!)

I’ve been working on some new ecourses today and will announce them soon (stay tuned - they’re awesome and you don’t want to miss ‘em!!)

Coaching Is Like A Kick In The Butt For Your Business!

More and more people are turning to business coaching as a way to reach their goals.  Once reserved for high powered CEOs of large corporations, the growth in the coaching industry has made it possible for owners of home businesses to take advantage of the coaching process.

Many people associate business coaching as a one-on-one meeting with a coach, either in person or via the telephone.  You may be surprised to find out that many coaches offer group sessions.  Depending on the coach and the location of the participants, session meetings may take place in person, via a teleconference line, or in a web conference room or private forum.

Group business coaching has many similarities to one-on-one coaching.  Depending on your particular business coach, you may be given a weekly action guide to review and have home work assigned.  Your business coach will ask you what you are having problems with and help you find solutions.

In most cases, group coaching is much more cost effective than one-on-one coaching.  Various coaches will have different pricing techniques, but since the coach is working with a group, they will be able to charge less per hour than they would normally.

Seeking out a business coach can be scary.  Asking for help can be downright intimidating.  When you are in a group setting, some of the pressure is taken off of you, as the business coach will be addressing all of you.  You will also gain support from the other members of the group.  You will realize that you are not alone, and that everyone else in the group is going through the same issues that you are.

Another plus to group coaching is that everyone will be at slightly different stages within their business.  This way, you can learn from each other.  One person may have a very new business and other members can prepare them for what is to come.  They can explain various mistakes they have made and keep the new person from experiencing the same problems.

Lasting relationships can be formed within group coaching, and that is something that simply won’t happen within one-on-one coaching.  These new friends can grow into business partners, and you can really prosper from knowing each other.

Not only will you experience the above mentioned benefits of group business coaching, you will experience the personal growth, focus, confidence boost and business motivation that comes from one-on-one business coaching.  With so many benefits to receive, why not give group business coaching a try?

The next IndieBizChicks.com Coaching Session starts April 7 and lasts through May 16. The session lasts 6 weeks, and you can view a breakdown of what will be covered at http://www.indiebizchicks.com/coaching.html

The normal price of the coaching session is $59.95 - but I can offer you an “early bird special” of only $49.95 through March 31!!

Looking forward to working with you!
