Are You Giving Good Blog?

Do you give good blog? As a business owner, you may already be blogging. And that is fantastic! But, are you really thinking about your blog? Probably not. I mean, you have a business to run, and there are so many other things that are more important, right?

Wrong! Your blog is very important to your business and the better blogging you do, the more profits you’ll have coming in.

Why? Because blogging is popular. Your customers are probably out there reading someone’s blog right now. So why not your blog? By getting them actively engaged and reading your blog, they’ll be more apt to buy from you more regularly.

Of course, to attract readers, you need to be giving them “good blog.” Who wants to visit a bad blog? Here are a few things to pay close attention to:

Design
When people are online, they scan a site, rather than read it like they would read a book. To help your visitors read your blog, make sure there is plenty of whitespace and use different sized fonts and bullet points to distinguish important information.

Make sure your blog has complementary colors that are easy on the eyes and do not distract from the content. Try to stay away from small or hard to read fonts. If your blog is hard to read, people will just click away.

Quality Content
The information on your blog, whether in written form, pictures, or audio makes up blog’s content. This is the main thing that is attracting visitors to your blog. Without quality content, there’s no reason for your visitors to come back.

When creating content, think about what your customers want to know. If you sell hand-made knit and crochet pieces, use your blog to show off your designs, your inspirations, tips on how to care for and clean the items, as well as ideas for gift items.

Regular Updates
If you are only writing in your blog once a month, people will lose interest between posts. On the other hand, if your blog is updated on a regular basis, people will want to keep coming back to see what you’re going to write about next.
