I was featured in two Treasuries on Etsy this week. Being one of about a million candle shops on Etsy, it’s so rewarding when someone admires your work enough to showcase it!
Already get and would love to extend the subscription.
The point of this contest is to tell people WHY you are celebrating yourself… We want to give you a virtual high five. So no more “enter me” replies… Tell us some good news, please!
I my goal this past week was to move one of my blogs to a new domain. Got it finished Thursday!
I started college last fall (I’m 44) and I wanted to make the Dean’s list. I’m proud to say I made my goal. This week I tackled my closet and next week, the pantry.
I am out of chemo right now on the way to recovery!
Enter me pretty please!!
Thanks!
My accomplishment has less to do with my business and more do do with my career. I started sewing to handle the stress of going to grad school to get my doctorate in education. It grew into a business that I enjoy although it has been on the back burner for a little while. Well last week I was hired for my first full time University teaching job. Yeah me. Now I can quit looking for a job and focus on building my business.
I am celebrating me today because my dreams are coming true…we have been approved to adopt!
i started my diet
I met with my soul sister, graphic designer, musician and stylist friend - ‘Ella Reid’ today and she is moving me forward to focus my business goals and vision for Jillibeandesign.com in the next 5 years. Just the push I needed!
In the past month or so, I have started my website, including my blog AND opened my etsy store (no sales yet, but it took a while to figure out how to take decent pics and list things. I have about 30 things listed now, so I’m on my way.

Dieting again. Thanks for the chance.
I didn’t loose anything last week
I gathered up all the baby things that my son has outgrown over the last year and put them in one location, so they can be sold!
My goal was to finally get my house in order and I have to say everything is working out.
I would like to win. Please enter me.
Please enter me! I’m crossing my fingers that I win. My reason for celebration is I have my own website and I made it myself. Although it’s not done yet, it is starting to take shape. That’s a great accomplishment for me because I don’t understand too much about computers or electronics. In fact my 8 year old son just taught me a new trick on deleting junkmail from my in folder.
I finally organized my fabric stash! Now I can find my fabrics more easily so I can create more things to post in my shop
My achievement: My last two soapmaking classes were fully-booked because of the work I put into promoting them online and offline!
I painted, orginized and installed new flooring in my studio. Also, I signed up for a new marketing idea to get more traffic to my blog & etsy shop by sending out some small samples of my work. On top of all of that I have made some new items and will be posting them later in the week. Things are great!
I have been working very hard to stay focused on my busines and to keep working on moving forward. It is so easy to get sidetracked….so I do set daily goals for myself and so far this has proved to be invaluable!! Each day it feels so good to say “Look!! I did it!!!!” And overall the results are starting to show!!
I have had this goal to get some promotional materials out to some maternity wards in my area. I have approached one hospital and they have allowed me to place my business information in their free baby bags that they give each mom when they have a baby. I’m so excited I can’t wait to see if I get any responses from it. And I ‘m getting ready to approach another hospital with the same offer.

I finally cleaned out closets and cupboards and organized my house. Feels so good!
[…] of all, I goofed up on a blog post recently. I ran a contest (http://indiebizchicks.com/blog/celebration/) and when I thought I published the winner’s name, I hit “save” — and not […]
