So far, in terms of new media, I mostly love blogging. I've been experimenting more with Twitter and Facebook, but after MySpace nuked the fridge... well, the blogging was left. Putting mine on my own site reinvigorated me.

Still, though, I think the real power comes in pushing all media as hard and far as one can. I was just reading Jonathan Safran Foer's Everything is Illuminated, which played with the format of a prose novel in truly extraordinary ways; I think the best thing about it all is that new media is making us rethink older forms. People call Dickens the Shakespeare of the novel, but I think there are still a lot of new things to do to make media more fun, more interesting, and more challenging.

Right there with you, always wanted to be a writer, or something along those lines. Always thought being from the south that I'd have to move to LA or New York to do anything like that. Today I write for several blogs, have my own podcast (it is on hiatus) and speak monthly or there about.

I do want to be published one day.
