I’ve been bitten — and they did a really good job!

I have been bitten! And I must say, the PandaBite crew did a very good job! You are probably wondering what this is all about, so let me start out at the beginning……..

The PandaBite crew is made up of 5 friends (the majority are actually related) in Minnesota. They provide nicknames. Yes, nicknames!

I had been corresponding with one crew member on some marketing ideas, and thought I would give their nicknaming abilities a whirl. I filled out a questionnaire and a few days later, I received an email with my nickname.  Here’s what I got:

“Crissy Herron,

Your new Pandabite.com nickname is the RIVETER based on the following information from your questionnaire:

“WE CAN DO IT!” Recognize that famous tag line? It’s from a poster around the time of World War II, and it features someone that we thought of after reading your questionnaire… Rosie the RIVETER!  You know, she’s kind of like an independent woman, who tells it like it is, and doesn’t quote… she gets quoted!  Yeah – we figured the RIVETER would suit you well.  The Rosie poster encouraged women to step up at a time when our country needed them.  She empowered them and gave them confidence to do things that they had not done before and we feel that is what your website does (“For women who would rather work for themselves, than work for the man”).  We also thought it was very Rosie the RIVETER of you to move to Alaska for seven years.  No spare tire, no chains, no problem for the RIVETER!  So move over Rosie, there’s a new RIVETER in town, and she’s Pandabite.com’s 21st Century All-American Girl!

YOU HAVE BEEN BITTEN! ”

I thought that was pretty good! I never would have thought it up myself. And it holds even more value since I’m from Flint, Michigan, and the person Rosie The Riveter was based on was a Michigander, too! Along with my nickname, I also received a certificate of the above info and a headband with my nickname embroidered on it.

If you would like to get your own nickname, certificate, and headband, then head on over to PandaBite.com.  It’ll cost you $12.98. (and with Jersey Shore making nicknames so popular, you know you want one!)

Oh, p.s., if you would just like a headband with a name embroidered on it, you can do that, too. Perfect for your Twitter handle, I might add. Their site has all the deets.
