What’s Your Summer Biz Strategy?

| April 28, 2009 | 1 Comment

Summer is coming, and that can spell disaster for your business. Blame it on your long, lazy summer breaks as a kid. As soon as June hits, the craving for vacation kicks in.

There’s nothing wrong with taking a day off to enjoy a day at the pool or a barbeque with friends. And you should definitely take some time to sit outside at night and look for fireflies…

Unfortunately, some people turn a few lazy days and nights into a 3 month total vacation.

I’m working on a Summer Business Guide, which will be full of tips and strategies you can use to stay on top of your biz this summer.

I want to hear from you – what’s your Summer Biz Strategy? How do you stay motivated to keep working when the temps jump? So don’t be shy – share your tip below. It may end up in the Summer Biz Guide!

I actually plan my schedule differently for summer. I consolidate all my appts into one or two days, leaving the other days free. I just realized, after struggling summer after summer with guilt, and wrestling with my massive desire to have freedom, that I could design a schedule that got stuff done and left lots of room for freedom.

Looking forward to my 2 day workweek! Yes, i do a few hours of work every day, but my main workdays are just 2…no one can get time w/ me on any other day in summer. period. i’m at the pool!

turns out it’s my most prolific and creative time, by the way!
