This is a LONG overdue blog post…. So feel free to kick me in the butt, ladies.
Anyhow, a couple weeks ago, Beth Dixon from Reware Vintage asked me to attend a Prjoect Runway party w/ her and some of the other ladies from Handmade Detroit. The party was held on the roof of a former hotel and it offered some great views of the city:
After that, we went to a pub, where we talked “biz” stuff and politics.
(hey - when you put a bunch of people from Detroit and a girl from Flint together, you know the subjects of mayors getting impeached and people getting arrested for wearing saggy pants is going to come up.)
I had an awesome time and hope the ladies ask me out for another adventure soon!

They put the DIY in Ferndale beautifully last weekend!! It was hot but there was a ton of great stuff to see. I hope everyone in the area got a chance to go…there’s always next year if you missed it this time around.
And Project Runway…what would we do without it!
