    thank you so much for sharing this wonderful piece with us. I’m sorry you had to go through such a frightening thing, but the experience seems to have made you more alive than ever before. My best friend died of AIDS back in 1992, so he showed me the power of love, hope, and how important it is to really live your life fully, embracing both the good and the bad. He is my role model and I honor his memory by trying to live in the moment, with awareness and love, every day. Not always easy to do, but so important.

  10. Wow, what a wonderful post. What a moving reminder of how to live. I know we all are guilty of feeling sorry for ourselves or whining over insignificant issues. This post reminds me not to take things for granted. Just as Kris Carr was inspiring to you, you are inspiring to others as well :)
