I’ll be honest with you.. I’ve never done direct sales before. And I really don’t know if I’m the best person for it. But I’m going to try it. And I’m going to tell you how it goes…
Why am I doing this? Because direct sales is one of the first work at home opportunities that women were offered. For over 50 years, direct sales has enabled women to earn money, work around their family’s schedules, and still get dinner on the table at night. That’s quite a history.
Not to mention, that with direct sales, women could earn as much as they wanted. I mean, think about it. How much do you think women were really making compared to men in 1951? If a woman chose to do direct sales, she could decide how much she wanted to earn by setting an income goal, and then holding the number of parties it took to earn that goal.
Like I said earlier, I’ve never done direct sales before. I’ve attended home parties, and I’ve even held a few so that I could get some free stuff, but I’ve never done this as a business before. This is going to put me out of my comfort zone a little. I am used to working from home, writing blog posts and so forth. I’m not used to asking people if they want to hold a Tupperware party. (Oh, yeah, that’s the company I chose to work with).
But I am going to try this over the summer and see what happens. I will be blogging my adventures, of course.
Now, to kick things off, I am going to be holding some online parties! (hey – I’m used to the online world)
The parties will be
- Friday, May 15 at 9pm Eastern
- Saturday, May 15 at 1pm Eastern
- Tuesday, May 18 at 10am Eastern
- Tuesday, May 18 at 9pm Eastern
To attend these parties, simply go to my web room at www.dimdim.com, click “Join Party” and enter the room name: crissy.
There will be prizes and games! And a 10% DISCOUNT on your order! Definitely come if you can!
If you can’t make it but still want to order, I can still give you the 10% discount if I receive your order by May 18. To receive the discount, view the Tupperware catalog here, and then email your order to me at info[at]indiebizchicks.com. I will then send you an invoice via Paypal. (I can’t give you a discount through Tupperware’s site, so we have to do it via email.)
You can also choose to have a party, via online or through catalog, and you’ll receive FREE Tupperware for hosting. Everyone loves free stuff!!
