I heart coffee. A lot. And now that it is the summer and about 9,000 degrees outside (Fahrenheit.) I greatly enjoy an iced mocha.
If you’ve never had an Iced Mocha Cap from Tim Horton’s, I’ll spare you the effort involved in trying one and tell you right now that they are delicious. But at over $2 a pop for a small one, they’re also spendy.
Instead, I save my dough and make ’em at home. Here’s how:
Brew some coffee and put it in the fridge (bet you never saw that step coming)
I put about a cup and half of coffee in my blender, add a little milk, a tablespoon of hot chocolate mix, a good squirt or two of chocolate syrup, and 3 or 4 ice cubes, then blend till I am happy with the consistency.
I pour it in a glass and add some whip cream, and if I’m feeling particularly saucy, another squirt of chocolate syrup.
Done.
Now go enjoy!
Mmm, I LOVE iced mochas. It’s my fave coffee drink of all time. Totally want to try this now! Gotta get cocoa…
