Driving at night…. it’s something people love. Or hate.
As the owner of a car, I sit pretty low to the ground. I also happen to live in Michigan, a state that spends a good chunk of the year buried in snow and ice. Lots of people around here have big trucks and SUVs, and their headlights always seem to glare in my mirrors. For me, driving at night can be a blinding experience.
I must admit, I’m very impressed with driving the Malibu at night. The rear-view mirror turns the headlights behind me a green color, so they don’t blind me at all. And I don’t know if it’s the positioning of the mirrors on the side of the car or what, but I don’t get the blinding effects from the side mirrors, either.
The dash lights up very well, and the headlights do as well. The path in front of me is lit up very well – but I haven’t had any other drivers flash their brights at me, so the light must not be too intense for other traffic.
I definitely give night driving in the Malibu a high-five! (and for the record, my nephew Caden, who is pictured in the video, well… he gives EVERYTHING about the Malibu a high-five. He loves that car!!! Especially the “new car smell,” the seat warmers, and the XM.)
