A friend of mine who lives locally to me recently started her first blog, and is currently working on her first ebook (recipes).
She isn’t out to make a million dollars. She isn’t planning on quitting her job to do this full time.
To her, blogging is simply FUN. It’s something that she can do for herself. It’s her blog, and her’s alone.
She wrote a post about that yesterday. I think her feelings sum it up for a lot of women.
Blogging gives women a voice. Some women blog loudly. These are the women with popular blogs that most of us have heard of. The “celebrity bloggers” if you will…. And then there are thousands and thousands of women who blog quietly.
But they are blogging, and they are creating something of their own. And I think that is totally awesome.
