I’ve recently started using Toggl (http://toggl.com) and am quite satisfied. It’s free.

A little widget gets installed on your computer, and it is synchronized with an online control panel so you can use it across various computer is needed, without having duplicate reports.

The widget learns what you’re doing, so after about a day and a half of use, it’ll start automatically switching between tasks by asking “Switch to task WEBSITE?” “Switch to task ACCOUNTING?” — so your time gets properly tracked, with very little effort.

  2. Great post Crissy!

I’ve tried just about every time tracking program/website out there and like Tara, I now use Toggl. It’s very easy to use, has a real-time timer (which is an absolute must for me) and it has great reporting features. They have free and paid versions (paid versions have greater reporting capabilities).

Another really good program to add to your list is T-Sheets.

  3. I’ve been hearing some good things about Toggl. I’ll have to check it out!
