Show Me Your Swag!

Swag is a term that describes the promotional items that businesses give away. Swag is a great marketing tool for your business. (You can read about how you can partner with others on JV Swag give-a-ways in a post I wrote for CraftBoom! here)

Not sure what kind of Swag to be giving away? Here are some ideas for promo items:

  • Postcards
  • Buttons
  • Mints and candy in personalized tins
  • USB drives
  • Key chains
  • Pens
  • Stickers
  • Notepads
  • Emery boards

This is just the tip of the iceberg! What kind of Swag have you given away in the past??

  1. SWAG! w00t! ~*~ Everyone loves some good SWAG! I’ve given away pens and sticky note pads before. This year I’m looking to get some USB drives to give away for my gadget site, they make an awesome SWAG that people are sure to hang onto!

I recently saw a few companies giving away flip flops and I thought that was a cool swag. My oldest son and his best friend got some cool AMP flip flops from a giveaway, perfect for the pool and the beach. Those seemed like a good creative way to market this summer!

  2. lovely good idea – thanks for sharing this and also many many thanks for lending us great ideas at CraftBoom too – thank you ~

  3. I give away hand made bath bags, lavender-filled eye pillows and lavender sachets all made from my hemp fabrics. I’m thinking of making business card holders for my more “business-like” clients! Always looking for new ideas!

  4. We recently started a clothing line designed around the saying Focus on the Positive. When we go to Farmer’s Markets to sell our line we give away a TON of swag and people LOVE it! It’s almost like we give them a free pad of paper or pen and they become so grateful they want to buy something to support us!
