If you read this blog regularly, you will know that I am currently a Mid-Michigan Chevy Girl, and that I am driving a new Malibu (for free!). The other day, I took a little road trip with my friends, Deni and Andy. We headed out to Frankenmuth (Michigan’s #1 tourist destination), and then went on to Birch Run (for shopping deals at Prime Outlets!).
During the trip, my sister called. Now, I don’t know about you, but I frequently miss calls while I’m driving, because my car is in my purse and I don’t hear it ring. OR, if I do hear it ring, I can’t take my hands off the wheel at that moment to dig it out of my purse.
Well, those problems are solved with the Malibu, thanks to the Bluetooth option. It only took a second to hook my phone up to the car’s bluetooth, and now I’m able to make and receive calls with the push of a button (and the button is located on the steering wheel, so I never have to take my hands off the wheel). When you receive a call, the audio from the stereo dips, so you don’t have to worry about missing a call. You can choose to answer or decline the call.
Since my friend Deni was in the passenger side, she was able to film the call, so I have some video of it. You’ll see in the video that even though the call is “hands-free” as in I’m not holding the phone, I’m still talking with my hands. Yep, I’m one of “those people.” hahaha
