Can People Find You On Pinterest?

Today, we’re going to talk about making sure people can find you.
When you sign up, you can choose a username. I chose my name, crissyherron, so my Pinterest address is www.pinterest.com/crissyherron. If you do a Google search for “crissy herron pinterest” my account comes right up in the search results.
While I think that most people who are familiar with my site are also familiar with my name, let’s say that there are some who aren’t. Well, I routinely post pins from my own site, so if somebody were to search “indiebizchicks pinterest,” they would still be able to find me.
Remember – you want people to be able to find you. If they can’t find you, they can’t follow you! I’ve done some searches for various blogging friends with an already established social media following and readership, and you’d be surprised by how many I cannot find (even though I know they are on Pinterest!).
Do some searches right now on yourself. Are you easy to find? If not, make a few changes to make sure you’re in the search listings!
