Put a little SPRING in your business, why don’t ya??

Today is February 22…. It’s been kind of a looooooong winter. You probably feel pretty blah. I know. I’m right there with ya.

BUT…………..

Spring is just around the corner. And if you’ve been slacking on your business because you’ve been suffering from a case of the winter doldrums, now is the time to shake it off and start putting a little spring in your business!

(and yes – I did spend 4 hours this weekend shoveling snow, but just hear me out, okay?)

Many of you know that I lived in Alaska for a long time – and Alaskan winters are dark and dreary. In November and December, it gets light around 10 in the morning and is dark by 4:30 in the afternoon. A little bit of light is gained every day, starting at the end of December (thanks to Winter Solstice), but you don’t really notice it right away…

But by the end of February, you really notice the change. I just looked up the sunset time for my former town. Today, the sun will set at 6:10 pm in Soldotna, Alaska. Well, that means, that it will be light out for a while after that… probably till almost 7pm.  Here in Michigan, it will be dark well before 7pm.

Do you see my point? The change is coming.

Now, you can sit back and keep waititng… or you can make it happen yourself.

What do I mean by that? I mean, put a little pep in your step…  Start updating your website / blog more, send out some press releases, contact some people and see if they want to work on a joint project. Go out there and do something for your business, because it’s not going to come to you! You have to go out there and grab it!
