Meet The Ladies Of The Blogging Experiment

I had an idea recently – to do a blogging experiment to see if we could increase web traffic this summer by posting links to other people’s blog posts on our own. This is not a novel idea. It’s been done before.

But now, people are so caught up in social media, blogging for traffic doesn’t really seem to hit anyone’s radar….

So let’s do it and see what happens???

I put a call out to those who might be interested, and I got several responses. I chose the following people (and it’s important to note that none of us have “exactly the same type of blog…”)

Each Sunday, we will write a post with links to our favorite posts from each blogger that week.  We will do this for 10 weeks, and then we will compare traffic from the starting point. I will publish a post and let you know what happened.

So… start taking your bets. What do you think is going to happen? Success? Or fail? Is it all about Twitter & Facebook? Or is blogging for traffic still relevant?
