10 Reasons Why You Should Learn To Teach Online Classes

My workshop How To Teach An Online Class is starting soon – as in November 1. So, of course I want you to sign up for it. But I realize that reason is probably not enough to make you want to sign up for it, so I figured I would give you ten reasons you might actually care about:

1) You can make money! – That is pretty much the best reason I can give you. This workshop is going to teach you how to make money. Hello! Everyone wants to make more money! And by the time the 4 week workshop is over, you can start enrolling students into your own online class!

2) It’s a great way to promote yourself! –  You can also teach online classes for free – as a way to PROMOTE your products & services! It’s a great way to show people exactly what you can do. Once they see how talented you are, of course they are going to hire you!

3) Did I mention that you get to do this from home? –  Look, there is nothing wrong with leaving the house. I do it daily. But I also enjoy sitting in my pajamas, on my sofa, with my laptop in my lap… and working at the same time! It is a wonderful, marvelous thing, and I highly recommend you acquire a taste for it, too.

4) You don’t need any special licenses, degrees, etc –  If you walked up to your local  school and demanded a teaching job, you’d have to show them a college degree, a teaching certificate, etc. Well, when you teach your own class, you don’t need any of that high falutin’ stuff.

5) It will help you build relationships with your customers – Building relationships with your customers is important. Very important! People want to do business with people they like. When they are working with you via an online class, they get to know you and they form that relationship with you. They will be a life-long customer.

6) It’s actually quite fun and rewarding –  Working with other people – even from the comfort of your own home – is very fun and rewarding. It is great to teach people things they actually want to know. Do not deny yourself the joy of this.

7) This can be as flexible as you need it to be – You can teach your class any way you want to. You can do webinars or teleseminars. If you have little ones or a crazy schedule and cannot do live classes, then you can record them and let people watch or listen to the recordings. You can write your lessons down. Put the info in a powerpoint. Set up a (free) forum on your site and communicate that way… There are so many options, the choices are just about limitless!

8) You have me to teach you – I’ve been doing this kind of stuff for a while. It puts food on my table and keeps a roof over my head. I know what I’m doing. Why not learn from me? I’m going to share all of my knowledge with you – and it’s pretty good stuff (I’m not the only one who thinks so. Read the testimonial from a former student here)

9) It’s a really great way to expand your business – Earning more money within your existing business can be hard. You can only make so much of your product, and for those of you with a service based business, you only have so many hours in a day to work. Teaching an online class is a great way to maximize your time and earn more money, without creating a whole new product or service.

10) Did I mention that you can make money? – In case you missed this reason, up at the top, I’ll repeat it: you can earn money by teaching your own online class! And you can earn good money doing it! So, why aren’t you doing it?

There are going to be people out there who NEVER buy your products or services. For example, let’s say that you are a blog designer. There are people out there who don’t have the money – or who just simply refuse to hire someone to change the background color or font on their blog.

They may not want to hire you to do it for them, but they would pay to take a class and learn how to do it themselves. By offering that class, you are able to earn money that you wouldn’t have been able to earn before.

The people who want you to do it for them are still going to hire you.  They don’t want to learn how to do it, so offering the class isn’t going to drive your customers away. It’s going to BRING more customers to you!

Hopefully by now, I’ve given you a reason or two to sign up for my workshop. Remember – it starts November 1, so click here to register now!
