Okay, I admit, the whole “life coach” thing is a bit over done. But if you are looking for a new business – or a side biz to add to your current biz, I do recommend coaching and consulting. Here’s why:
You know things that other people want to know! For example, let’s say that you are a teacher. There are a lot of people who home school their children. Market yourself as an educational consultant or a home school coach and help these people create lesson plans, learning activities, and so forth.
You can also be a coach or consultant on things you don’t have a degree in. If you scrimped, saved, and lived on a tight budget in the past few years in order to pay off your student loans, you can market yourself as a debt-reduction coach.
Like I said earlier, there are people out there who want to know what you know! And you can earn an income through teaching it!
You can coach people one-on-one, in group settings, in person, via phone, via web room.. the choices are limitless!
Even if you just did this on a very part time basis, it could be a solid way to add a couple hundred dollars to your income each month!
