Earjeans (Vendor Post)

Earjeans is a handmade fashion jewelry line created by Tasha LaRae, August 1, 2008. The line features jewelry made from a wide variety of materials including denim, leather, yarn, beads, and much more. Tasha chose the name Earjeans for two reasons, 1) because her first pair of earrings were made of denim and 2) because she wanted to create jewelry for women and men that gave them the same confidence, comfort, and compliments they would receive when wearing their favorite pair of jeans. Simply put, Earjeans is jewelry that fits you like your favorite pair of jeans.

While Ms. LaRae enjoys the creative and time freedom that running her own jewelry business provides her first passion is music. Tasha is the lead female vocalist and newest member of 2x Grammy award winning group, Arrested Development. She spends most of her time traveling the world and performing. When she’s on the road, she gathers lots of inspiration and materials for new jewelry creations. It’s also very common to see her with scissors and fabric while riding the tour bus. Tasha, along with many of her band-mates, often wears Earjeans on stage because they are perfect for standing out and making bold fashion statements.

On August 2, 2011, Tasha started a blog post where she makes a new piece of jewelry everyday and blogs about it. Counting down from 365, the number one piece will be announced on August 1, 2012 in celebration of Earjeans 4Th birthday. Updates on the Earjeans 365 Collection are posted daily on Twitter, face book, and once a week through the Earjeans email list as these are the best avenues to communicate with her fashion forward clients.

Earjeans mission is to provide quality, handmade fashion jewelry that compliment, support, and celebrate ones individual personality and character.
