One of my goals for the past couple of years has been to take my show on the road, so to speak. I would really like to do an Indie Biz Chicks tour one day – going to different cities, sitting down with the people who read my site, and do what I do on here – but in person. (If you’re not sure what I do on here, I give advice and provide kicks in the ass – in the form of motivation, of course.)
Last year, I went to Etsy’s headquarters in Brooklyn and spoke about blogging in front of a live audience, and that was simultaneously played online. I had an awesome time, and I knew I totally wanted to do more speaking events.
This year, I am heading to Minneapolis in September to speak at BlogHer Handmade! Seriously! I’ll be speaking at a BlogHer event. This is huge for me.
BlogHer is the most respected name out there when it comes to blogging conferences. For me, this is it. This is the big time.
And I’m totally still working on the idea of taking my show on the road. So, keep an eye out. You never know, I may be hitting your town soon.
