Meet Kelly, One of the Interns!

Hi! My name is Kelly Mercer and I am excited to be here as one of the Interns for IndieBizChicks.com and CleverChicks.com.  I am really looking forward to learn more about blogging from Crissy Herron for next 10 weeks.  When I first joined the crafting business world in 2006, I have always wanted to learn more about becoming a better blogger – not just for my small business, but also for myself.

Like you, I am a creative entrepreneur for my small business.  I love making retro-inspired hair accessories, jewelry, and e-books for Retroeighties.  I started out making friendship bracelets, friendship pins, love beads necklaces, and tie-dye t-shirts when I was in junior high.  Time flies when you are having fun creating many different things!

I may wear many different hats but I manage to find time to do all things I love doing such as making jewelry, taking photos, writing, working on my website, shipping orders, and assisting in a residential design firm.  Apart from creating, I am simply a girl from the South who loves to drink Iced tea, watch old TV shows from the 1970s, and doing graphic design & web design.
