Road Trip, Part 1

One of the best things about a new car is being able to grab your friends and go on a road trip! So, when I started driving the Malibu, that’s exactly what I did.

On this particular Saturday, I grabbed my friends Deni and Andy, and we headed out to Frankenmuth. Frankenmuth is Michigan’s #1 tourist spot, and it is actually a cute little town. It’s German-themed (known as Michigan’s Little Bavaria).

The first thing we did was head to Bronner’s, the world’s largest Christmas store. Bronner’s is open all year, not just at the holidays. You can find any type of ornament your heart desires… and for any holiday. You’ll see on the video that we found ornaments for Halloween and St. Patrick’s Day, so if you like the idea of having a tree up all year, this is your place to go!

Next, we headed over to Zehnder’s for some lunch. Zehnder’s is famous for their chicken dinners, which can be served family style. We ate in their cafe, though, as it was only lunch time. We also went shopping in their market area. I picked up some of their jams, handmade chocolates, and I also found an owl shaped cookie cutter.

The next stop on our road trip was Birch Run… but you’ll have to keep an eye out for the next post to see how that part of the  trip went!
