As the holidays get closer, it’s easy to find yourself burning the candle at both ends. You have your business to run – but you have a bunch of other stuff going on, too! You may not even realize that you’re missing out on some marketing materials until it’s too late.
Here is a little list of some of the things you’ll need:
Sales Page – If you create info products or have a service based business, you will need to create one for the product / service / holiday special you wish to offer.
Item Listing – If you sell on Etsy, or a similar type of site, you will want to create an item listing for your promo item(s). Be sure to include several good pictures. The more people can visualize it, the better. When a person visualizes the object, they see themselves with it, and that makes them want it. They have this picture of themselves in their head with the item, and they have to buy it!
Copywriting Tips – Whether you are writing a sales page or an item listing, you will want to pay attention to your copywriting. This is your “sales writing,” and it should include the benefits of your product or service.
A lot of people will just include the features. And that’s great, but features don’t sell products or services! Of course you will want to list technical stuff in your item listing (or on your sales page), but don’t forget to talk about the BENEFITS your product / service will provide to the customer. Tell them why they can’t live without it!
Create Graphics – I recommend creating some graphics to display on your blog to help catch people’s attention. Some popular sizes are 125×125, 200×200, and 468×60 banners.
Once you have the graphics made, you will want to display them on your blog. You’ll also want to ask your online friends to display them on their blogs / sites, as well. Every little bit of help will come in handy!
