As an entrepreneur, I always like to do a bit of research on certain business-related topics I am interested in or just to satisfy my curiosity.  For instance, I am curious to know what it is like to be a vendor at the craft fairs because I plan on participating at the craft shows in near future.  Since I am an amateur, I turned to these helpful articles, Beadin’ Path’s Top 5 Tips for Craft Show Success and Slow Craft Fair Sales, for ideas on how to prepare myself for upcoming craft shows.

3) Use Tech Tools
I am sure you know what it’s like to do it all on your own.  We need to be creative by finding new ways to work smarter, not harder.  Speaking of which, I find this article, Use Tech Tools, to be helpful, it gave me some ideas on how to manage my time better online and offline.  For example, I use HootSuite to update my Twitter and Facebook status when I am busy working on my new projects or writing blog posts for IndieBizChicks.

4) Connect with your Customers
I think it is important to know who your customers are.  You can read this article for ideas on how to connect with your customers.  It can be either joining in the conversation via Twitter or reading their comments on your blog posts.  If you are at the craft show, you can talk to your customers and finding out what their interests are – it will give you an idea what kind of products they are looking for.
