Help Yourself by Helping Others!

As “motivation week” comes to a close, I have a final tip for you: Motivate yourself by helping others!

If you know of someone who needs help with a project, offer to help them. You can do this by offering advice, guiding them through the work, or donating a few hours of labor.

By working with someone else, and seeing how happy they are when the project is finished, you can motivate yourself to finish your own projects!

Now, I’m not saying you should abandon all of your work to go work for free on someone else’s stuff, but if you have the ability and are able to help someone for a couple of hours next week, why not go for it?

If you try it, and it doesn’t inspire you, then don’t keep doing it.

But hey – it’s worth a shot, right?
