Here are some tips on some little things that you may not have thought of.

“Use Google Chrome’s Incognito Window to sign in to your client’s Gmail account. That way you won’t have to logout of yours. It’s also great for testing website changes because cookies aren’t saved and pages aren’t cached.”
    – Tanya Bryant, StarVA

“Want an influx of new clients? Give your lead magnet a refresh.”
    – Semonna McNeil, New Client Magnet

“Complete the About section of your profile. It is important to include a link to your blog or webpage. If it is your profile page on Facebook, include a link to your fan page. You want to make it easy for people to find you.”

  • 5 Ways To Market Your Business With Videos

vid3-00Do you ever watch shopping channels such as QVC or HSN? Have you ever got sucked into one of those infomercials and thought “Wow! I need to buy this!” And I know you’ve absolutely seen many, many commercials while watching TV over the years.

Video is a great way to market your business. And thanks to tools such as YouTube, Google+, and other social platforms, you can reach a huge audience of people, without spending a fortune on a commercial.

Here are 5 Ways that you can use video to market your business, products, & services:

Introduce Yourself – Use video to introduce yourself to your potential customers. We share our personalities and many pieces of our lives through our blogs and social media, but it’s still not the same as face-to-face contact. Video allows you to bridge that gap and helps you build relationships with people in a way that written words cannot.

Show Off Your Product – Video is a great way to show off your product. If you sell a physical product, you can show people using your product. If you offer a digital product, you can take a screen share video of your product. For example – if you sell a WordPress plugin, you could record your screen, showing what your plugin actually does. You can also use this technique if you are a service provider. For example – if you are a graphic designer, you could show some before & after pictures of a website. Maybe you added a new header or sidebar graphics. You can explain why these little changes make a big difference to the visual appeal of the site.

Show People How To Use Your Product – Showing people how to use your product can make a huge difference in your sales. If you have a physical product, you can simply hold the product and explain the benefits. If you have a digital product, you can record your screen to feature a demonstration of how to install or use your product.

Give Out Great Related Information – You don’t even have to make a sales video to market your business via video; you can simply give out quality information that is related to your product. For example, if you sell essential oils, you could record a video that explains how to clean with oils, and at the end of the video you can tell people how to access your site if they would like to buy the oils you talked about in the video. Here’s an example if you are a service provider. Let’s say that you are a virtual assistant – you could record your screen and show people how easy it is to sort email using labels in Gmail, and then you can offer your service of organizing an inbox.

Customer Testimonials – Providing customer testimonials is a great way to to build trust with potential customers. Ask some of your previous customers to record a quick video of themselves, explaining why they liked your product or service. You can then use some video editing software to create one longer video out of several shorter customer testimonial videos.

And remember, you can use these methods to market products you’re an affiliate for, as well.

Did you recently buy something from Amazon? Record a video review of the product. Are you an affiliate for a paid WordPress theme? Record your screen and show people the back end of the theme and how easy it is to customize it.

In these cases, it’s important to also create a blog post or a page on your blog that includes your affiliate link. Include the link to this page or post in the video description. People need to click on your link when they purchase, in order for you to get credit for the sale.

  • March: Blog Post And Promotion Ideas

shamrock1Need some help  coming up with topics for blog posts or sales promotions for this month?

    Here are some ideas:

St. Patrick’s –  St. Patrick’s Day is coming up on March 17. You can take this idea in a variety of different ways. You could post recipes or craft ideas for the holiday. As far as promotions, you could have a “lucky day” sale, offer 17% off,  or you could host a giveaway that day.

Easter – Easter is during the first week of April this year, so now is the time to post your Easter related blog posts, whether it’s ideas for Easter baskets or whether it’s tips on how  business owners can work ahead and take a long weekend to enjoy the holiday. If you sell Easter related items, this is the time to promote them.

Spring – Yay! Spring is coming! Write a blog post and list your favorite things about the season. What are you looking forward to? Are there any events in your industry that are coming up? Post about those, too!

Cleaning – This is a time of year when people do a lot of cleaning and organizing. You can give household cleaning tips, of course, but you can also tailor this to your specific industry. For example, if you are a VA, you can give tips on how people can clean out their email inbox. If you are a web designer, give tips on cleaning up a website. If you’re a stylist, give tips on cleaning out a closet.

Sunshine – People are looking forward to a good dose of sunshine after a long winter! Add some sunshine to your blog by writing a post about what makes you happy.  Or host a “Sunny Day” promotion. Do you offer a physical product in a sunshine-y color, such as yellow or orange? Or, if you are a service provider, offer a promotion where you tell your clients to go out an enjoy a Sunny Day outside while you take over the work!

  • Free Class – Creating Recurring Revenue

I’ve put together a FREE CLASS on how to create recurring revenue in your business.

    Not sure what that is?

It is revenue that repeats itself.

Many of you may be familiar with some of the popular “box” programs – like Birchbox (cosmetics), Nature Box (healthy snacks), and Bark Box (pet products). People pay a monthly fee and these boxes are delivered to their door on a monthly basis.

Recurring Revenue is not limited to physical products, though. We’ll talk more about that later!

Recurring Revenue helps you build a stable, reliable income. Many business owners start the month out at zero. If they need $5,000 each month, they start out at zero and need to earn that $5,000 each month. That means finding new clients and selling new products. You may start to feel like you’re on a hamster wheel, never getting anywhere.

With Recurring Revenue, you start out ahead of the game. Let’s say you have 100 subscribers that each pay $10 per month. You will already have $1,000 coming in to your business.

(Obviously – you can increase that! $1,000 is just a starting point!)

Click Here To Sign Up For This Free Class

I’ll send you the first lesson immediately!
